Description
Notes:
This card is the first of a pair sent by Olney on the same day. The coloring is really something…
On the manufacturer of this card… In the few cases where this information hasn’t been provided clearly there would be other ways it may be possible to identify the maker of the card. Here the font used for “Post Card,” or even the image numbering, could help to narrow down the choices. It’s a coincidence, but look at the card Jennie received the day before this – July 26, 1910. That card was sent by her sister, Emma, who was in Manchester, NH, yet there’s little doubt that both cards were manufactured by the same company: the font is the same; both cards share the same unequal division of space for the personal message and the address; both image numbers are five digits and appear in the same location on the face of the card, etc.
