I heard the whispering Fairies say, We come, with noiseless tread. We come, brave little Commodore, To measure height and size; We wager half our golden joys That you will lose the prize. We hear you called the smallest man, They saw that I was smaller, For the smallest on of all their throng Was eleven inches taller. Now, since I’ve measured with this throng, Conducted by their plan, I now proclaim to all the world That I’m the smallest man.
