Title

Sept. 7, 1912 A

Subject

Oswegatchee House Waterford, Conn.

Description

Notes: The manufacturer of this post card was as local as you can get in a business that was overrun by enterprising startups. On several occasions Emma and other correspondents mention that they have bought more cards for Jennie’s collection. Those additional cards might have been mailed within a package or enclosed in an envelope with a letter. This is a rare example of one. Perhaps it was kept because it was written on. Anyway, the card is paired with another that was sent from Connecticut and pictures the same resort.
