Title

Nov. 1, 1914 A

Subject

Minot’s Light, Boston, Harbor.

Description

Notes: The dating of this card is sheer guesswork. At this time he was working for the Life Saving Service in Gloucester, Mass and probably had an opportunity to get into Boston going or coming. The card was almost certainly included in a letter or package, hence no postmark. Nevertheless he addressed to Jennie at a Madaket Road residence. "your collection” At some point Jennie and her correspondents must have realized she was amassing a collection of these images of lighthouses. There are earlier hints of a lighthouse collection in the cards sent by A.W. Roberts.
