Title

July 6, 1910 A

Subject

Pawtucket, R. I. Sayles Memorial Hospital

Description

Notes: An “x” appears on the face of the card. As is true of many of these cards, here is a celebration of the infrastructure – in this case the public health infrastructure. See this link for a history of Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. Note that this page also reproduces an early post card view of the facility. In 1910 we are looking at the very first incarnation of the building. Emma is reporting on the changing face of a Pawtucket her sister would not have recognized.
