Title

June 20, 1910 A

Subject

Main St. Bridge and Falls, Pawtucket, R.I.

Description

Notes: The iconic Main St. Bridge – a graphic rendering of this image – would appear on the masthead of Pawtucket papers even before the age of post cards. “burst”? or “burnt”? In either case, it’s an odd term to describe the lines going down. “Tel.,” although abbreviated, is capitalized. It was an awe inspiring invention, worthy of a capital letter.
