The year 1910 was well represented in the collection. The sheer number of cards that Jenny gathered in that year increased dramatically.

Spring 1910  Emma sent Jennie a black and white, "real photo" postcard of the Pawtucket River.  Upstream the stone arches of the Division Street bridge are visible.

Summer 1910  Emma's daughter, Rhoda, married into a New Hampshire family named Rowell. The Rowells lived near the Merrimack River, in Hooksett, NH.

Fall 1910  The gauzy beauty of watery surfaces could be well suited for color lithography. This is the Division Street bridge in Pawtucket, RI. The river itself and the bridges over it were icons of Pawtucket's industrial infrastructure and its history.
