George Wilkes
George Wilkes was a popular wench dancer, here shown in and out of theatrical costume. It seems likely that all three images were taken at the same time, by the same photographer. Wilkes was a stage name for George Miller. He died in October of 1870 while performing in Memphis, Tennesee as a member of Emerson's Minstrels.
