The Sager girls - Arabella, Isabella, and Adella - performed as the Sager Concert Troupe.  La Petite Adella was the star attraction.  Later they formed part of the "Original" San Francisco Minstrels, along with Miss Lotta (Crabtree), William H. Bernard, Billy Birch, Joe Murphy, the Worrell sisters, and W.H. Smith. In the 1862 San Francisco City Directory Isabella and Adella were listed as employees at Maguire's Opera House - "danseuse" and "vocalist" respectively.  On the reverse side of this card there is a handwritten inscription identifying "Mrs. Della Smith."  W.H. Smith left Cotton & Murphy's Minstrels to return to California to marrry her in 1866.
